Crowns & Bridges
Built to Last

Premium porcelain crowns and bridges that restore damaged and missing teeth — strong, natural-looking, and designed to last decades.

What Are Crowns & Bridges?

When a Tooth Needs
More Than a Filling

A dental crown is a custom-fitted cap that completely covers a damaged tooth, restoring its shape, strength, and appearance. A dental bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring to neighbouring teeth with crowns.

Both are fabricated from premium porcelain or zirconia — designed to look and function exactly like natural teeth. Modern crown and bridge materials are indistinguishable from natural tooth structure, even under close inspection.

When you might need a crown

  • Large cavity too big for a filling
  • Cracked or fractured tooth
  • Tooth after root canal therapy
  • Broken cusp or worn-down tooth
  • To support a dental bridge

Restoration Options

Crown & Bridge
Options We Offer

Porcelain Crowns

The most aesthetic option — porcelain is colour-matched to your natural teeth and reflects light naturally. Ideal for visible front teeth where appearance is the priority.

Zirconia Crowns

Extremely strong and tooth-coloured. The preferred choice for back teeth where chewing forces are highest. Can also be layered with porcelain for enhanced aesthetics.

CEREC Same-Day Crowns

Using our in-house CEREC technology, we design, mill, and place permanent ceramic crowns in a single appointment — no temporaries, no second visit.

Dental Bridges

Replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth (pontic) between two crowns. A proven, fixed solution that restores function and appearance.

The Process

Your Crown Journey,
Step by Step

01

Exam & Imaging

X-rays and clinical exam to assess the tooth and plan the crown or bridge. We review your options and confirm the best restoration for your specific situation.

02

Tooth Preparation

The tooth is shaped to accommodate the crown; impressions (digital or traditional) are taken. Local anaesthetic ensures you are comfortable throughout.

03

Temporary Crown

A temporary crown protects the tooth while your permanent restoration is fabricated by our dental lab — typically ready within 1–2 weeks.

04

Crown Placement

At your second appointment, the permanent crown is tried in, adjusted for fit and bite, and bonded permanently. For CEREC crowns, steps 2–4 happen in one visit.

FAQ

Common Questions

How long do crowns last?

15–25 years with proper care. Avoid chewing ice, hard candy, or using teeth as tools. Regular check-ups let us monitor the crown margins for any issues that could affect longevity.

Does getting a crown hurt?

The procedure is done under local anaesthetic — you won't feel the preparation. After the anaesthetic wears off, some sensitivity is normal for a few days and resolves on its own.

Is a bridge better than an implant for a missing tooth?

Implants are generally the preferred long-term solution as they don't involve adjacent teeth and preserve the jawbone. However, bridges may be more suitable when adjacent teeth already need crowns, or when cost or timeline is a factor. We'll discuss both options honestly so you can make the right decision for your situation.
