We examine your teeth, gums and bite and take digital photos, x-rays and scans. Digital imaging lets you preview the likely result before you commit. Healthy teeth and gums are the starting point for any cosmetic plan.
3. Your personalized treatment plan
We explain the treatments that suit your goals, in what order and how long each step may take. You receive a detailed written, itemised cost estimate before treatment begins, and financing options are available for larger treatment plans.
4. Treatment
We carry out your plan step by step, checking in along the way. Some treatments finish in one visit and others take a series of visits, at a pace that suits you. If you are nervous about treatment, nitrous oxide and oral sedation are available.
5. Your new smile and maintenance
We finish with a final check, show you how to look after your results and put a maintenance plan in place.
Before Your Visit
- Think about what you like and dislike about your smile, and bring photos of looks you admire.
- Be ready to tell us about your timeline, such as a wedding or event, so we can plan around it.
- If gum or cavity treatment is needed first, we will explain how it fits into your plan.
After Your Treatment
- Follow the aftercare instructions for each treatment in your plan, such as care for veneers, bonding or whitening.
- Some sensitivity can follow cosmetic treatment. It usually settles, and we can advise you if it does not.
- Brush twice a day, floss daily and keep up with regular checkups and cleanings to protect your results.
- If you grind your teeth, ask about a custom night guard to protect your new smile.
